school house nursery 

The project with Middlesbrough based nursery, School House, was great fun to be a part of. We came on board at the early stages before the nursery was open, tasked with creating a recognisable brand that could underpin a strong social media campaign.

 

School House encourages curiosity and adventure, believing that childhood is a magical time, and we wanted to reflect these beliefs in the brand. Designing the logo around the unique victorian house where the nursery was situated enabled us to hold these traditional values at the forefront of the brand, furthered by the old fashioned tree swing and hop scotch. Following this theme, the brand was developed with accompanying hand drawn learning elements that support the core visions of School House nursery.

The process involved sketching the individual elements before scanning and digitising them to develop the palette. Rusty Designs provided social media elements, external signage, uniform and leaflets.
